Oct 2011: Karen Thorp – New Director of Marketing

Karen Thorp is delighted to announce she has joined Interstate Building Maintenance Corporation as their Director of Marketing.

Karen has been a real estate professional for over 30 years, working in Property Management, Leasing and, most recently, as the Director of Learning & Development at Liberty Property Trust. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and holds a Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker’s license. Karen is a Certified Property Manager with IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management), serving as President of the Delaware Valley Chapter in 2004 and 2005. She also has her Real Property Administrator designation from BOMA (Building Owners’ and Managers’ Association) and participates on several committees with the Philadelphia Chapter.
